Thanks for the tip Jim. Just a couple of washes later and they smell fresh as daisies. I can barely put 'em down, love 'em, thanks again.

Best numbers balls EVER!

I have been juggling 5 and more balls since 1985 and got so frustrated with the lack of quality and the lack size/weight options available that I started making my own. Not any more!
Never again will I spend hours of tedious sewing because I have finally found the perfect juggling balls. These beautifully crafted and durable suede balls are the perfect size and weight for numbers juggling. I've also tried the less full ones and they are great also, especially if you're new to numbers juggling - I happen to like em nice and firm. And the price is incredible, I've spent 3 times that much for similar props that were ultimately disappointing.

Best things I've thrown in the air yet!

These are so much better than my old "learn to juggle" bean bags it's silly. Having been stuck at 3 ball cascades for years, I'm already doing Mills Mess and 4 ball fountains fairly easily. They're soft, don't roll at all and are a joy to juggle. I can't wait to get above 5 so I can order some more!

A great juggling bag development

A great bag that works very well for me. just the right size for working on 5 or 6. Very soft on the hands but maintains that round look in the air due to the 14 panel design. surprisingly easy on the hands compared to all other props I have tried. Since the outside of the bag is soft some slight rub collisions can be recovered without losing a pattern completely. I strongly recommend this bag. Shawn S

Great hackey sack

Bought the sand filled one and it was perfect. It has just the right amount of sand in it so it doesnt go lop-sided when you give it a glancing hit. Despite this it is still easy to stall, plus it stands up to heavy use and was still working fine 5 months later until I lost it. Im ordering another one now and thought I'd review it to help anyone else looking for a good hackey sack. Would buy for a third time if I manage to lose the second one!

Very unique ball

When i first got these my main concern wasn't so much juggling them as it was setting them under a nice bright light so that later when it got dark i could see them glow. getting them out and having a feel the first thing i noticed was how unique and almost odd these balls felt in my hand. because of the thick silkscreen(at least i assume that's what was used to make the star pattern) the balls have a semi rough texture. when i was just holding them in my hands i wasn't sure whether or not i liked the rougher texture. however, once i started juggling them i immediately understood that it was a good thing. the roughness of the thick silkscreen gives these balls great grip and makes them great for just about any juggling, not just juggling in the dark. the description says loose filled, however they are not quite as loosely filled as the studded 2.45" soft hybrids. but they are more loosely filled than traditional hybrids so i'd say that the feel as far as that goes is pretty much a cross between the two. i can see them loosening up more and more tho as the silkscreen starts to get broken in and soften up some.

ok so now for the real reason you're probably reading the review for the GLOW in the dark balls. lol after my initial experiences with these i laid them on the table by my bed and shined the brightest light on them that i had. this was at about 3 in the afternoon so it wasn't really dark enough for me to see how well they glowed, so i decided to just leave them there. i turned them and moved them around some and also juggled them in the bright lights just to make sure that all the sides would be as closed to evenly "charged" as possible. the moment of truth rolls around. it's about 6 in the evening and it's dark outside. i turn the lights off and then shut my tv off. "WOW!" the exact word exclaimed by both me and my roommate at the same time. these balls lit up the table. i could see all of the night table and everything on it just from the glow of these 7 balls. i picked them up and began juggling and was amazed at how great they looked in the air. the bright green classic "glow in the dark" color showed up so well and as long as you're a decent juggler you will have no problem keeping a pattern going in the dark. these balls are definitely a must have for anyone that performs in a night club or outside at night. they would also make a great addition to an evil clown act at a haunted house. not only that they make a great addition to just about any jugglers collection as they're not only great for entertaining, but also very nice balls to juggle. after juggling them for about 30 mins the glow had faded some, but the still shone bright as could be. after turning the lights on i couldn't help but think it a fluke. maybe leaving them under such bright light so long was the only reason they had such a great glow. to confirm(or deny) my theory i put them into a black bag and wrapped them up in a blanket and left them there. the next night i turned the light on in my room and took them out of the bag and just juggled them for a total of 15 minutes. to my surprise when i turned out the lights out. the balls shined just as brightly as they had the previous night. i was shocked, these truly are some of the best glow in the dark props i think i've ever used or seen.

right now i'm working on getting a picture of how well these glow(i don't have a very good camera so it could take a while) so that people can see the glow before they buy these amazing in the dark props.

i think the only reason i give these 4 stars and not 5 is because i think that after some use and abuse(and maybe some drops on rough surfaces) that the silkscreen on these balls may begin to crack ad peel some, but it's definitely not a factor to not get these. as long as you take good care of these and pay attention to where and how you juggle i think that these balls will last(and glow) for many a year. another great prop from flying clipper

2.55" Ultra Soft

Well, it’s been about one year since I purchased these hybrids, and they still look brand new. I should also mention that I use them almost every day and have washed them numerous times. Not only does the material look to be in new condition, the fill inside the bag still has the same consistency as the day I received them. Although these continue to be my favorite, the other flying clipper hybrids that I own aren’t far behind. These continue to be the best juggling balls that I have used!

Ultra Soft 2.45

Well first off awesome product I must say. These balls exceeded my expectation in quality and feel. The fabric is very nice to the touch perfect weight and size. I do have larger hands and find these to work great, my other ones are 70mm (2.8" or so) white illuminated balls for comparison.

Also id like to give the company a great review. When ordered the color red was not available, but it was needed by Christmas. They ended up substituting burgandy for red, and throwing in a jumbo carrying bag for free for not having red. Burgandy ended up being a very nice deep color. In fact i didn't even know it wasn't red. It was a present to me for Christmas and was told what happened. Thanks guys!!!

All and all these are amazing and you seriously can't go wrong with these

Quality to last

My first set of flying clipper juggling balls have lasted me for 10 years and haven't even begun to wear out. I recently purchased a set of hybrids after trying some a friend had. They truly are a great ball, and are clearly made with the same level of quality as my original set. It's great to see a company so dedicated to the quality of their product both in construction and design. And at a reasonable price to boot. Hats off, keep up the good work.

Incredible craftsmanship

I was a little unsure about these when I first removed them from the package--they were slightly smaller than I expected (just over 2.6" when new), and they are FIRM. I was immediately struck with the high quality workmanship--topnotch stitching and incredible roundness really show attention to detail. Then I started to juggle them.

Let me say first that these are not for everyone. If you like a "squishy" bag that is really forgiving when trying out new tricks, or for a lot of multiplexing, this might not be the best choice. BUT...if you want a bag that is "ball-like"...if you want a bag that holds its shape no matter what you do to it...if you want PERFECTLY predictable flight behavior...if you want a bag that is round enough to do contact juggling (seriously!)...if you enjoy the satisfaction of using best-in-class products...then this IS the bag for you. The ultraleather is luscious to the touch. All five of mine were within 1 gram of each other. And they seem to hover in the same way that the best stage balls do.

Simply the highest-quality juggling bags I have come across, and it isn't close.

Excellence in a BAG!!

This is by far the best footbag on the market, not only is it great for the sickest of stalls but for the gnarlliest of tricks like rainbow kicks and jesters. For over ten years (i started when i was six so you can do the math) i went through crappy crochet Boota Bags like crazy and only a hand full of Sandmasters (usually couldnt afford on my small budget so i didnt get alot) but this has changed it all. I got this for christmas and i have hammered it since and it has proven resilient through my tests. The description isnt clear as to what you are getting though, it is an eight pannel dirtbag with a pouch barely large enough to engulf it but it is a convient mode of transportation. THIS IS A MUST BUY FOR FREESTYLE HACKERS!!!!

As close to perfect as i've juggled

the title pretty much expresses it, these balls truly are incredible. when they first arrived and i opened the box the first thing i noticed was just how bright and vivid the red color was. the picture really does it no justice. the color is very bright and shows up well with any kind of background whether it be from your POV or the audiences. after i took them out of the box and fiddled with them for a bit i decided i'd throw them in the washing machine so as to really loosen up the fabric some. when i took them out of the washing machine i noticed that unlike the other sets of tossaballs that i've used and washed, these didn't really feel wet, only cold. i attribute that to the type of fabric not absorbing much moisture which is a good thing because it means they can be juggled with water around. even if one gets dropped in, it won't hurt the filler, but it also won't make the outside to soggy to juggle which is nice. the next day after they had "dried" completely is when i finally realized that these were the set of juggling balls i'd always wanted. they have an amazing feel to them. not too soft but not too hard. they sit well in your hands or when dropped and have just enough give that they don't bounce or roll much on the ground. they also still keep a nice solid shape in the air, and because they are hybrids, the flight through the air is a true as can be.

the material itself seems to be very durable although i could see the color maybe fading a little after a few years. other than that i don't know of any issues i could ever see using these balls. by far my favorite set of juggling balls that i've ever used; these will definitely get continued use from me for many a year to come.

Hybrid Decorated Juggle Ball

I had been thinking about getting these balls for a while, and it seemed a bit of a risk cause of the price and since I am over in the UK and I had never seen anyone with tossaballs, but I gave them a go and boy was it worth it. I am a bit of a juggling ball collecter, I got so many sets but tbh these balls are the only ones I use now. Must admit with the hybrid filling they did feel a bit weird at first and took a day to get used to it but the weight and size is perfect, cause of the way they are filled they feel heavier than they are and than they look, but it makes for really nice clean 5 ball patterns and they are prob my fav for 3 aswell they are just so easy and fun to juggle. The studs sort of work, depends on the lighting really if the lighting is low since you are looking from below there is normally not enough light to see the reflections off the studs, but in good lighting you can see the reflections off the studs and it can make a difference. Especially in really high lighting thats when the studs look really cool when it sorta has a disco ball effect and looks the definition of flashy :P Certainly gives it a different look that makes them stand out. Not showed them off at any juggling festivals yet pretty sure people will be impressed when I get the chance.
Good customer service and fast delivery aswell btw, got a bag with the balls which I really like. Tempted to shop for some more hybrid balls now not sure which ones to get I prefer the softer feel to firm ones so these were an obvious choice.

Quit Staring and Just Buy Some!

My family and juggling club bought piles of these, especially the "gold star/blue", our school colors, but they don't have to be your school colors to love them. They're bright, beautiful, and look great in performances and demonstrations.

We received our shipment several months ago and these balls just feel better and better with use.

And I'll never buy another birdseed bag again. These balls won't succumb to washing, wet grass, or mice (which ate most of my old birdseed bags).

We love these bags and you will too. So quit staring at them online (like I did for weeks) and just buy some now.

I have used these as my primary juggling balls for the last couple of years, or at least a model very similar I believe. I run 9 with them with no big issues, I would do more if I had more. They have been very durable, I haven't had any leaks. They do loosen up over time, and can tend to do so at different rates. I counter this by always choosing the least worked balls to juggle with as to even the wear and tear. Also they have discolored to a dirty white. All in all I think these balls are awesome.

I have owned several SandMaster footbags, along with many other brands, over the years and what I love most about my SandMasters is that they work great right when I get them and last for a long time. All sand bags leek. That's just a part of life. But these hold up well and don't have that annoying "breaking in" phase associated with many of the more durable sacks out there. Thanks for your great design and quality production!

The best ever

I have been a juggler for 12 years and have tried sets of equiptment ranging from large to tiny. I find for the average males hand this is the best ball to use. The weight is perfect. It comes to a dead stop when caught or dropped. The best piece is the ability to make numerous catches per hand when collecting as they are not crowding for space. These juggling balls are the best! hands down.

Great for ...

For new jugglers and those that prefer larger equiptment the 2.55" juggling ball is excellent. The weight is that of the smaller equiptment allowing the juggler to use bigger toys without wearing themself out. The feel of it at first can be hard to get used to as it bounces a bit but when breaking in the ball gains a more "dead stop" quality landing. If you like Russians but want a softer grip these are the ones you need.

Excellent for show

The hybrid metal studded balls are amazing when you are performing. They add the visibility to a relatively small object. The green star in the center also afford the ball another layer of showy quality. The weight is without compare for performers looking for a techical juggling ball that is easy to control. Buy these if you like to juggle and show off.

I have been juggling the 2.55" firm Hybrid juggling ball for a month and a half and I have to say I love it. The grip on it feels nice in the hand and it comes to a dead stop. All positive for jugglers. The fact that the ball is firm makes consistent catches easy as well. I would highly recommend trying these if you want an "overfull" ball.

Everyone I hand these too is surprised to find them weighing nearly as much as a standard ball. I tend to use these most when doing balltimates with someone as they really make life easy when you are passing 11 or more!

These are a must-have for all multiplexers, numbers soloists, or numbers passers! Try some today - you will be very pleased! :)

For scale, they are 20% larger diameter than a golf ball, and twice the weight. All with the joys of a Tossaball!

I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

I purchased 8 of the Harlequin Color Tossaball Hybrid 2.65" Ultra Suede Soft Juggle Balls in Mid-December 2011. The website says that they are 130 grams. I weighed them on my digital scale. Three of them weighed 129g, another three weighed 130g, and two weighed 131g. I am very pleased about that. (By the way a DIME weighs 2g).

I can only personally juggle 5 beanbags, and 3 of these are a gift for a family member who recently learned to juggle.

The Ultra Suede's texture feels great, and these beanbags are intentionally underfilled so they are just slightly soft, almost feels like they are pre-broken in for you.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase and encourage others to try these.

And this may not be a big deal to other people, but I like the fact that they are NOT filled with birdseed.

I am in my mid 40s and I've juggled since my teenage years both professionally and for enjoyment. I wish I would have looked into a quality juggling ball/beanbag like this in the past, and I guarantee you that I will be purchasing some of the other types of beanbag/balls they offer.

Christmas is coming and I almost can’t wait to give my family's newest juggler their three, but I've already been juggling 'my' five and there is something amazing about these wonderful beanbags.

My only regret is that I didn't buy these a long time ago.

I give these my highest possible recommendation.

Extremely happy again with this purchase.

(Please see my review of the Tossaball® Hybrid 2.65" Ultra Suede Soft Juggle Ball if you are looking for a slightly looser packed ball)

Posting this review Christmas Eve, 2011.

I was so pleased with the others I had to order 6 of the Tossaball Hybrid 2.8" TX Juggle Balls. I personally can only juggle 5, but bought 6...most of the time I just pass clubs with friends, but just in case can't hurt to have 6 of these for passing.

I decided to go with the White Star / (Black, Orange, Blue, Red, Green, Gold) mix of colors and they are just as visually pleasing as the others I reviewed.

The interesting thing about these, is that the color along the seams highlights the stiching. It makes each ball look like a very expensive style pro sports ball. I'm not eloquent in describing what I'm thinking here, they just look great.

Also that pattern is wonderful because it really reveals spinning of the ball in the air, so if you are trying specifically not to spin the balls in flight you can very easily see how fast they are spinning.

I would love if Flying Clipper would make some balls like this with alternating black/white panels but that is for another day...

The texture is very different than the suede bags, soft yet really 'grippy' (I know that isn't a word)...not really a leather feel, but still feels like it helps you catch them.

They're glossy and have a tight feel in your hands, with a little give, but are very easy to catch.

Near perfectly round, they are also quite adequate for contact juggling and body rolls.

Like the other balls I bought from Flying Clipper, these are quality. I'm just as happy with these.

If you want something with a nice tight feel in your hands, get these. If you want something with more of a slightly broken in beanbag loose fill get the 2.65" Ultra Suede Soft(s) instead.

And like the other ones, these are not filled with birdseed, and the weights of the balls are about as spot on as humanly possible. Five of them weighed 131g and one of them weighed 130g.

I give these my highest possible recommendation also.

2.8 Ultra Suede Hybrids Review

I was looking for a hybrid ball after going through several sets of stretchy vinyl bean bags. So I did a bunch of research and came across the tossaball Hybrid Juggling Balls. I ordered a set of 7 2.8 firm ultra suede balls and was extremely surprised at how sturdy and "ball-like" they were. The quality and craftsmanship of these balls are immediately noticeable. After juggling with them for many hours, I can honestly say that these are by far by favorite juggling balls! I have sets of stage balls of all sizes, bean bags, glowballs, etc, and these are by far the most comfortable and enjoyable to juggle. The colors are surprisings vibrant, making them highly visible. And unless they are launched at a horizontal angle, they tend not to roll very far, making them excellent practice balls. They also fly perfectly, making learning tricks and patterns with higher numbers far more easy.

As far as customer service goes, Jim is extremely responsive and he genuinely cares about making sure you get the best product and the best experience. It is nice to deal with someone who cares about you as a customer and appreciates your business.

I rarely write reviews about products unless I absolutely love them. And I am in love with these balls! They are unique in design and quality and are made by a fantastic company. I cannot recommend them enough!

I got 7 of these in March 2012 and work with them 6 days a week. They are great. The only other juggling balls that I've juggled with are by Mister Babache. Though those are good bean bags as well, these ones are on a whole different level.
I still cant get over how they maintain their shape and the way they feel in my hands. They are an absolute pleasure to juggle with.
I have been working on foot stalls and elbow stalls and these bags make it so easy because of their dead drop.I am much better juggler thanks to these ones.
I am from India and I wrote a million mails to Jim who was kind enough to promptly reply to each one them. It gave me a lot of confidence and made it very easy to buy these because of his commitment and experience in designing and making juggling balls.
The only issue that I've faced is that one of the ball stared fading and giving off color(blue). Apart from this the remaining ones(6 red + 1 yellow) look brand new every time they come out of the drier.
I am going to buy from Flying Clipper again and already have my eyes fixed on the 3 inch Plush Puppy.

This is going to be the first review of this product that i will submit i got a set of seven in the mail today about three his ago and wow as soon as i held one in my hand i was captivated the weight is perfect they manage to keep there shape very well the feel of them is UN like anything I've ever juggled before the ultra suede feels heavenly in your hand and when you squeeze them a fist full of marshmallows comes to mind.
I have juggled more variations of juggling balls than care to remember and this is the first one that feels like it was made to be juggled, this is as of right now the best juggling ball I've ever touched.
After a few hours of juggling with these i am very pleased when you drop one it doesn't roll away from you, every time the ball lands in your hand it feels extremely stable.
On to of all of this i can fit all seven balls in one hand then violently shake my hand around with out one of them flying away.
There will be another review soon once i log some real practice time with them but right now i would ofbeen happy if these balls were selling@$20 a peice knowing that these are only $14 a peice blows my mind!

They float up into the air, and you can basically catch them with one fingertip and correct your pattern. Really, really nice. I'm getting many more throws in before my pattern totally falls apart, and can recover more easily when it goes slightly awry. I bet they're even more amazing for actual good jugglers. best beanbags

i can strongly recommend this ball for any beanbag users.

followings are not pro and cons, but just matter of preference.

the outer material does not stretch so much as other leather beanbags such as SportCo sports beanbags.
and the inner material is bigger than birdseed used in normal vinyl beanbags.

the ultra suede gets dirty a little too easily, but the balls are machine washable.

thanks to 12 panels, it keeps the round shape well, but still easy to stall.
it is roughly as soft as well-used SportCo beanbags from the beginning.

personally I prefer large size, so this 3 inches ball is nice.
white colour, which i ordered, is now out of production. what a pity!

Best prop ever, period

I recently received a set of the Phat Tyre Pro 70s...this must be what it's like to eat filet mignon for the first time after a lifetime of Big Macs. I haven't been able to put them down. I never realized how much I had been compromising with my juggling props until I held this bag in my hand; perfectly sized, perfectly weighted, buttery soft feel, eminently catchable, eye-catchingly visual, even the sound is great (almost silent, as opposed to the loud swish of the plastic resin in my previous set of underfilled bags). They are very squishy, but they somehow still feel structured and substantial, and maintain a very round shape in flight. Tight patterns are a breeze because throws are so predictable; I've never juggled any bag where such precision was possible, let alone an underfilled one. Nothing is perfect, though, right? Okay, fine...they smell like tires. It's faint, and it doesn't bother me, but if the smell of your props is an issue, there you go. The smell might lessen after going through the wash anyway; I don't know. Another possible issue (and I stress possible, because it might not be a problem) is whether the filling will eventually leak through the seams; but the craftsmanship of these things is fantastic, and I trust Jim has done his R. and D., so I doubt it. In fact, the only real problem with these might be the fact that all of my other props are going to be seriously neglected from now on. I'm curious about the 90% fill version, I might get a set of those too. If you like underfilled bags, do yourself a favor and get a set of these immediately. If you don't like underfilled bags, these will almost certainly change your mind. My bottom line: these are my favorite prop ever. It's shocking that they are so affordable compared to some other bags on the market, so wake up and get a set now, before Jim realizes his mistake and starts charging what they are worth.

This is, without a doubt, the best ANYTHING I have ever juggled. They are already broken in and honestly do feel like marshmallows, as if the filler were a heavier form of cushion stuffing. Phat Tyre Pro 90 Juggle Ball

I received my Phat Tyre Pro 90s yesterday and I love them!! They are excellent to juggle with and exactly what I was looking for (something between a squishy beanbag and a more solid, stiffer ball). I flashed up all five of them successfully several times last night, and they feel great plopping back down into my hands. And the weight is perfect and definitely is helping me make more accurate throws. I feel like these will go a long way towards helping me attain the 5 ball cascade I am after in the next month or two. And I love the feel of them. I could just hold one in my hand, tossing it around, stalling it, and squishing it, for hours I think! Also, the electric yellow does indeed glow brightly under a black light, so that's a bonus!!

This footbag brings me back to my 1980's kicking, but the difference with the Octoe is it's nice and soft unlike my old stiff leather hacky sacks back then. This would've been a dream back then. This probably won't be a real frequent kicker for me but i love the classic design!

I cannot recommend these balls enough. They are a joy to practice and play with. As a first time beginner, I wasn't sure what I was wading into, but I have nothing but the highest commendations for the quality of the craftsmanship and the customer service in ensuring that I had a right fit for what has become dozens of hours of practice.

Jim was a patient accommodating man who understands what it is to do a quality job. When my previous order wasn't what I had precisely wanted, we went back and forth until I was able to find something that has kept me entertained every day since. The only extra cost was the shipping, which I can only say is very reasonable thing to ask after such care.

The weight is beautifully balanced as the ball nicely keeps it shape as its flying through the air due to the multi-panel stitching. This ensures that the fill is evenly distributed throughout the bag, and it lands in your hands with a good "thump". Break them in and you are sure to be thrilled by what you find.

My only comment - and why 4 stars instead of 5 - is that as a female juggler, I have smaller hands which can sometimes make catches difficult. I would love to see this ball at a smaller diameter, but I would say that 2.55" is not a bad size generally.

All told, I love these balls and the quality of the craftsmanship and care of customer service goes above and beyond.

Quantifying the craftsmanship and indeed the experience of juggling these balls is not easy...

You would be wrong for thinking a filling of recycled tyre rubber was a gimmick. It’s not. It’s almost as though this filling was destined for this use. The marriage between filling, filling volume and fabric is precision artistry. They are a joy to juggle. They implore you to juggle them, and every time you do you find something new to appreciate about them.

They are good for numbers juggling and I suggest appropriate across the whole spectrum of juggling skill levels: from beginner to professional.

Ultra Soft 2.45 are Excellent

Been juggling for about 25 years, and have collected juggling balls of many different styles. Bought these one year ago. If there is a better ball out there, I don't know where to find it. Other jugglers agree - from beginners (two of my children just learning to juggle) to veteran performers (long-time friends) - of all of our hundreds of juggling balls, these are our favorites. Whenever anyone reaches into the prop pile (bag, tote, apple cart, etc.) for a ball, they always choose these. Whether teaching new jugglers, learning a new trick, performing an old stand-by, or setting a numbers PR, these are our go-to juggling ball. Perfect for learning, good size for multiplex and numbers, and great weight and feel for passing. After one year they still look like new. Hope they last forever.

Great Value

This set includes the Classic Dirtbag in its buttery smooth cover and stallability. The Stellar Staller as a great all arounder with the bonus of actually glowing in the dark. The Mega Metal which is beautiful to look at while kicking with its 12 studs shining out, pops are perfection on it. The pouch fits more than 3 footbags, and is velvety soft like the Classic Dirtbag. High quality. Did a lot of research and found this to be the best value in footbags giving a solid feel of different fills of sand and sand/metal and weights and sizes. Very happy with this pack of 3.

CLASSIC

I bought the All Star 3 Pack that included the exclusive royal blue/black colorway of the Classic Dirtbag. I was surprised how nice the material and sand fill weight was. This thing is a bargain. Don't let the price fool you though. The cover material on the Classic Dirtbag is velvety soft like suede. The fill is perfect for stalls and kicks, enough flop to make it super pocketable. This thing is basically portable fun, throw it in a backpack, coat pocket, jean pocket and off you go. Washable, hand stitched, 8 panel goodness. It's a classic for a reason, some have had theirs for years and years. As "Toes" says, "happy feet are a good thing," and boy are they happy kicking around this classic.

The Mighty Mite combines the best elements of a bunch of my favorite footbags. It's got sand and some flop like the Classic Dirtbag giving it surprisingly good stalls. Stainless steel fill to give it a nice pop like the Mega Metal. A smaller footprint but still bigger than the Mini Stinger. Kicks are controllable yet forgiving like the Phat Tyre Pro. The perfect mix of size, weight, and fill, the Mighty Mite surprised me in how much I enjoy kicking this thing around. Plays way bigger than it is. The Mini Stinger is ferocious. Such a tiny footbag to throw in a coat pocket, but man this thing packs a punch. It's got a solid solid feel to it, doesn't flop, but still stalls, and man does this thing pop. A real compact controllable springy all stainless steel pop. It started to sprinkle, but we kept on playing. Then it started to pour, and yet, we kept playing. The hybrid had nearly the same touch as when we started. Even though it's not all dirt/sand, the hybrid still has good "stall-ability" and good touch. It has a little more action than a dirt bag, but I like that. Good weight and feel

Weight: For the smaller 2.55 size these feel solid and heavy (but not too heavy)

Feel: I read a review that said these balls feel slick but i disagree. The leather finish feels soft and provides good grip while not being too tacky.

Fill: These balls are stuffed to almost full capacity but still provide a little bit of squish. They hit the ground with a solid THUD and don't bounce or roll. I like the round full-feeling of these balls vs. squishy bean bags.

Accuracy: These are my first set of real juggling balls but my throws feel effortlessly accurate compared to juggling tennis balls/other random stuff.

Wow!

Simply put, one touch & one word - and that word is WOW.
The first time you hold a Phat Tyre, you'll have the urge to say that because you'll be hard pressed to recall ever feeling anything quite like it.
Functionality of a juggling prop, however, is obviously more important than feel.
Once again, one catch is all it takes to realize the confidence a Phat Tyre will give you in catching.
If it lands in your hand, it will almost certainly be a catch.
Its resiliency will keep it from bouncing out, its grip will keep it from sliding out, and its weight will keep it right where it lands.
The Phat Tyre is loosely stuffed, but still has sufficient density to make throws right on target.
Its contrasting colors (if that's your preference) allow for great visual spotting, and they are washable so that won't change.
I've made hundreds of my own beanbags to get that 'just right' feel for multiplexing patterns.
The Phat Tyre is unique in that it not only has that 'just right' multiplex feel but is also well suited for numbers juggling - or for any other pattern.
I've hit some of my personal bests shortly after using these, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same happens with many of you.
Regardless of your juggling style, you won't know what you're missing until you've tried a Phat Tyre.

Great but noisy

In the past I learned most tricks (3ball cascade, reverse cascade, windmill, shower, mills mess) with hard balls like baseballs/lacrosse balls, and occasionally tennis balls. These "plush" juggling balls have been a lot easier to use as they don't break things when they go flying across the room, or fall on your toes... They are also a bit bigger than I thought (a little larger than a baseball) but are easily caught because they are "squishable". However, they make a lot of noise when juggling as if you are throwing a bag of rice up and down. Besides that, these are a great set a balls that I will recommend to many people in the future.

Awesome juggling balls!!

I've had PT 90 Pros for almost 3 years now, and they're absolutely amazing juggling balls. I saw that Flying Clipper is discontinuing the PT 12s, so I decided to order some while I still can. The PT 12s are basically the same as the PT 90s but they're smaller in diameter (the PT 12s are 2.5 inches and the PT 90s are 2.75 inches). They weigh about the same (PT 12s are 120g and PT 90s are 125g). They feel really similar to juggle as the PT 90s, just smaller.

I hope Flying Clipper keeps making the PT 12s!! The PT 90s are a bit big. Although I have small hands (about 7 inches from the tip of my middle finger to my wrist), the PT 90 size never really bothered me because they’re so squishy. In any case, I think that it's good to keep having a mid-size PT juggling ball. That way kids and people with smaller hands can juggle them!

Anyway, if Flying Clipper does discontinue the PT 12s, then the PT 90s are a fantastic option. If you have smaller hands, then try out the PT 12s while you still can! The PT juggling balls have a really unique feel to them that I haven't seen anywhere else, and I love them.

My second favorite

These balls are fun too. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars, is I have to have some way of ranking other balls here higher. I bought these balls before I got the Irish 120s, and I mostly like the dependable performance and stalls of the Irish's better.

First, our new jugglers always like these better than the Irish's (when they have an opportunity to compare) because the rubber-filled feel so soft, squishy, and comfortable in the hand. I still love them for this. I also like to use these when watching TV or if someone's sleeping in the room because they are quieter than my Irish's

These are also good because I like to do a little foot and knee work with them while I juggle for fun and for exercise. They work admirably this way, but I think the Irish's are technically better because Irish's don't have any bounce any in them.

I think these balls are very versatile, and used to stock up our university juggling club with these before I saw Irish's.

Unusal yet pleasant to juggle!

I ordered five PT Pro 90s to practice five ball juggling. While they have a somewhat unusual feel - they've been described as something like marshmellows - I find them very nice to juggle with. As they're partially filled, they seem to be more "forgiving" when they collide on the air and they stall rather nicely. Also, they have a dead drop which makes it a lot more efficient to pick them up. They're machine washable, too, which is an added bonus.

Wow, These Are Awesome! : )

Got them in the mail today, juggled them for about 30-45 minutes and I just ordered more, just now, I think that says something.

I've been juggling off and on for about 25 years, so I've had all kinds of beanbags, both from custom prop makers and from larger juggling supply stores. I'm not going to say these are the best because it's a preference thing, but for a soft and forgiving bag, these have to be on the short list for the best out there.

These are softer than expected and I got the PT90s, so I can't imagine how soft and floppy the PT70s are, which I guess are more for stalls and foot juggling.

With the super soft marshmallow bag, there's a little wobble, but that's offset with the forgiving catch, so no issues there unless you're trying to juggle a really high pattern and even then, it's not a big deal. I originally wanted all white bags, but the solid red looked so true and vibrant in the pictures, I ended up getting a mix of 7 red and 3 white, then my new order today fills that out with 3 red and 7 white (I like to have beanbags all over my house!). The ultra suede has a such a terrific feel, I wish I could shrink myself down and take a nap on these!

Lastly, I'll add that the shipping was a little pricey, but they showed up two days after I ordered them (tracking was included) AND they sent a free carrying sack : ) Thank you!

UPDATE: Wow, These Are Awesome (er)! : )

Ben again, I left a previous review in which I mentioned at the end that the shipping was a little pricey (keep in mind, not a big deal since it was quick shipping and included tracking). Same day I left the review, Flying Clipper reached out via email, had checked their shipping costs and realized a mistake had been made and adjusted the shipping costs for me!

In addition to the PT90s being awesome, I've never received such great customer service before.

Thank you!

I'M IN LOVE WITH THESE JUGGLING BALLS

I've been juggling nonstop ever since I got my PT 90 Pros two days ago. These are my favorite balls I've ever juggled!! They feel squishy which makes them really easy to catch, but they also feel really solid at the same time, which is a really unique combination. Jim is great and he was super helpful at answering my questions before buying the balls. Also there's fast shipping so what are you waiting for? Go order some PT 90 Pro's and you can be juggling these beauties in the next few days :)

Phat Tyre

This footbag is fantastic. Its got a pretty decent weight, definitely a heftier one than the classic DirtBag or typical sand footbag. The rubber pellets inside cushion the metal bb's and also provide a good bit of spring, bounce or pop off of the user's knee or shoe. Great for groups. I'm super happy with this one and it's my go-to for the time being.

My Favorite

The PHAT TYRE PRO kicks like a springy rubber ball, but also stalls like nothing else out there. The weight and size is great because it's forgiving, giving me my highest consecutive kick count and also perfect to use in groups. I got the fluorescent/orange combo and love the way it looks, the tire marks are a nice touch. Props to Flying Clipper for continuing to innovate and come up with this winning fill. This is my favorite footbag of all time.

Marshmallows

I've had a set of the LD Pros for a few months now and while I really enjoy those for working on 7, 8, and 9, they feel a little small in my hands for certain other tricks. So I decided on trying a set of these.

Pros: -The quality of the craftsmanship is top notch. -Customer service is always wonderful. -Fabric feels super soft yet durable. Also has great grip. -Size is absolutely perfect for what I'm wanting. Big enough for regular 3-5 ball stuff, while small enough for numbers as well. And they fit magnificently into multiplex patterns. -These are my first balls using the rubber filling, and I gotta say... it's AWESOME. It's probably the softest and smoothest filling I've ever felt. I understand why people have compared juggling these style balls to juggling big marshmallows.

Cons: (kinda) -This is barely a con and I'd give 4 1/2 stars if I could. They were definitely saggier than I assumed they'd be. The site lists them at 90% filled, but looking at them and feeling them it sure seems lower than that. However, I think I'm really liking the way they turned out. There's nothing really wrong with them; they just weren't exactly what I was expecting (not necessarily a bad thing). So for anyone looking to buy these, remember they are a little underfilled.

Overall, I'd recommend these for sure.

FLYING CLIPPER ANSWER: Keith got the last orange balls in inventory and they were a little softer in nature than the usual run but good balls in their own right.

PT Speeder Juggling Ball

Only once these were in his hands did my 10 y/o focus on learning to juggle. They feel amazing to the touch, and fit in his pocket so he can -and does- juggle anywhere! He's asked for a 4th for Christmas, but I'm getting 3 more so we can start passing...

Excellent

These juggling balls have the perfect weight to size ratio. They are small enough for numbers and multiplexes but not too light. They just have a great feel to them - I can't put them down!

The BEST beanbags on the market

I've been juggling and performing professionally for more than 20 years, and these are by far my favorite juggling balls. They have a unique grippy texture that helps prevent them from sliding out of your hand while juggling, and the size looks great on stage. A+

LD Pros

I've been juggling for around 20 years now and just recently got back into the hobby. I can do 5 and am working on 7. My old set of beanbags were pretty trashed so I decided to get some new ones. After trying a friend's set, I was instantly sold on the LD Pros. So far, I'm loving absolutely everything about them. They're very round and go exactly where I want. The filling is smooth with just the right amount of give. And the color is BRIGHT (I got orange). They're great for numbers and multiplexing.

Also, I should mention how awesome Flying Clipper's customer service is. One of the balls I received had a small sewing defect. I emailed Jim about it and he immediately sent me another and told me not to worry about it.

It's safe to say as long as they keep making beanbags, I'll keep buying them.

Top quality

I recently placed an order for 8 of these 2.8" TX juggle balls. I chose these instead of the smaller version as my hands are fairly big, and I can easily hold a pyramid with four balls of this size (time will tell if this was a wise choice ;) ) I ordered mostly silver, with one off color - blue - to more easily learn certain patterns.

They were shipped out the same day I placed the order, with a tracking code, and they arrived a day early which was nice - I am on the other side of the states.

My initial impression was... well I was impressed. The  glossy finish really does look nice and the balls are very vibrant and easy to see. I was also very pleased as they threw in a complimentary juggling bag that perfectly held the 8 balls.

I was previously juggling a set of homemade balloon juggling balls filled with barley. They were a lot heavier, and I found the weight of these new balls ideal. It took a few minutes to get used to the balls grip as balloons are virtually slip free. But it wasn't long before I was very comfortable, and found that I naturally compensated by improving the accuracy of my throws. That was easy to do with the balls being so consistent in shape and size. Having said that, if you prefer more friction in your grip, the suede is probably a better bet; I myself enjoy the feel. The blue ball grip is slightly less slippery than the silver. The grip may also change with more use; time will tell.

I am very satisfied with the balls, and would highly recommend them. I will definitely buy from flying clipper again in the future - maybe an ultra suede style for the contrast - but would replace these if it ever comes to that... they seem very durable though.

Regards,
Daniel N

good bag. I told them about a defective one that i got and they replaced it. Just noticed that the one I got was a Juice facile bag not an OREGON juice facile. 8 stitches on each side of defective OREGON one. 4 on the replacement that is actually just facile. plus the design is only shown on the regular one, NOT on the OREGON one.

The "Big One"

Wow, these are great i received a set of three the other day and i love them. They are great for practicing endurance.
They are also amazing for contact juggling because of their size. They are good if you go street performing or do stage performances because they are eye catching and very visible. If you juggle with smaller balls like hybrids after juggling these they feels so quick and snappy. It feels like you have full control over them.
