Tossaball® Hybrid Ultra Leather Bright 2.8"Juggle BallsAll of our Hybrid series of juggle balls are made with two layers of cover material trapping crushed rock between them. The inside of this “ball inside a ball” is filled to volume with recycled plastic pellets. The two different filler materials do not co-mingle which leaves most of the balls weight isolated to the rim of the ball giving true flight characteristics unlike any hand-made ball before. Two layers means double strong. Two layers also create a ‘bias’ helping to keep stretch to a minimum. Once the ball breaks in (about 10%), it stays that way and will not get too soft even after many washing cycles. That’s right, all Tossaball® Hybrid Juggle balls are washable! This Hybrid offering is made from high visibility, durable Ultra Leather with a flair. A unique combination of silkscreen color on this hand-made juggle ball presents the impression of a star pattern. Tossaball Hybrid 2.8" Ultra Leather Bright Juggle Balls
These juggling balls look really wild as they spin in the air. The painted pattern on these balls makes them quite easy to see in your peripheral vision. I have found this to result in fewer drops. The material is also easy to grip. Some ultra leather balls tend to be a little slippery until they get warmed up, not these. People observing seem almost mesmerized as these balls come to life while they rotate in flight. Visually, they are truly stunning.
I like the hybrids because you can wash them (if you have ever juggled outside, you know what I’m talking about), pellets don’t break-down over time like seeds do, and the weight of the pellets are always consistent with respect to the volume they displace in the bag. They have also proven to be very consistent with regards to flying properties, and overall feel.
I have purchased countless juggling balls over the years, from a number of different vendors, and I can honestly say that these are with out a doubt the best I have ever seen. As someone whose hobbies include sewing, it was quite apparent to me that the quality of the material in addition to the craftsmanship was superb.
The material is of the highest quality. This translates to a long lasting product that stands up to numerous encounters with the washing machine. I must admit that I was a bit hesitant the first time I washed them, but it is actually recommended. Unlike juggling balls filled with seeds, the fill in these bags don’t absorb water and swell-up.
This Company is obviously operated by people who love the sport of juggling and take a great deal of pride in the service they provide. Simply put, they want their customers to be very happy. This Company has been in business for many years, and the positive reviews speak for themselves.
Final thoughts: How good are these juggling balls…………, let’s just say that I am in my mid 40’s and this is the first time that I have ever been compelled to write a review about anything. I think that says it all.
