Flying Clipper continues its grass roots efforts to get the word out to jugglers about our great line-up of Tossaball Juggle Balls! This one slipped by us but we are posting it anyway. The Bay Area Circus Arts Festival and the Berkeley jugglers put on a another great event over the weekend of Oct 4. Flying Clipper was on board with a raffle donation of our new Phat Tyre Pro Juggler 90 juggle balls. Good job Berkeley enthusiasts on another successful weekend of fun!
Flying Clipper is happy to announce a transfer of props to Voices For Children of Broward County (FL). More than 60 Flying Clipper juggle balls were donated to help children learn how to juggle and instill in them the confidence of accomplishment. Alan Garber, a Ft Lauderdale CPA and avid juggler, asked us to help and we are glad he did. Thanks Alan for your good work and the opportunity to help.

10/23/13 Hi Jim,
I was kicking my Juice yesterday and realized that it was the very same bag that Tricia George and I used to set a Guinness World Record with in 2006: http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/5000/most-consecutive-footbag-kicks-in-ten-minutes-doubles-
I continue to be impressed with the variety of designs and quality of products you bring to the world. Keep up the good work! ~Paul Vorvick, Flying Clipper Fan #1
Record rainfall did not dampen the spirits of hundreds of jugglers who descended on Reed College for the 21st annual Portland Juggle Festival. Flying Clipper is the only vendor to attend every festival. Many local jugglers around the Portland-Eugene area are long time friends and supporters of Flying Clipper and it is a joy to share time with this great group of people. As in last years festival when Flying Clipper introduced its first recycled rubber filled juggle balls, this years festival also saw an amazing amount of rubber filled juggle balls placed in the hands of hungry jugglers. Flying Clipper prides itself on innovation and we know we have hit the mark with the new Phat Tyre (recycled rubber filled) series of balls.
As we continue to perfect our line of juggle balls we are sure that the feedback we receive will translate into new and better juggle balls to show each year at the Portland festival. Consider joining us next season to see what is new as the next generation of improvements will be presented and get a chance to win a set yourself in the raffle. Thanks Portland Jugglers for another outstanding event!
From the desk of Jim Fitzgerald President and co-founder of Flying Clipper, est. 1983:
Being a craftsman now for more than 30 years has given me ample time to think up new ideas for expanding the horizons in the art of juggle ball design and concept. Lets face it, after hand sewing more than 75,000 footbags and juggle balls one cannot but help to fall face first into some good ideas now and then. :=) Combining a second and arguably a more valuable asset which is listening to jugglers for their feedback has enabled Flying Clipper to thrive in the midst of a very crowded internet marketplace. Our innovation is driven on improving each juggle ball model according to the feedback we receive from our juggling friends.
If you have never seen our products let me tell you this: Every juggle ball or footbag we produce is made from our own designs. (many of our designs are the most copied in the industry). Every juggle ball we produce is 100% hand made and completely washable. We use recycled materials in many of our models in the form of the filler materials we use which include recycled plastic pellets, crushed rock and ground up recycled tire rubber. From our Tossaball Hybrid series of balls to our newest rubber filled Phat Tyre series, we make a juggle ball that is just right for all types of juggling. We welcome ideas and feedback from our friends and value all relationships that come our way. When you purchase a product from us, you are not only getting a great washable hand made juggle ball, you are also promoting the inventors and we thank you.

Flying Clipper is happy to be a part of footbag history.
We pioneered so many styles of footbag along the years here at Flying Clipper. We think this new project by John Stalberger on Kickstarter is fantastic because the history of footbag is so rich with so many stories of good friends.
We’re happy to be a part of that history and happy to support this Kickstarter campaign to see the release of the book about the history of Footbag aka Hacky Sack. The book is called “Hack the Sack.” It will be once it gets funded that is! Go check it out now and help out!
And as a part of telling that story, John is talking on Sunday’s about the history of the sport of footbag on Blog Talk Radio. This is a great service and we’re so stoked to see John telling his stories in a way that you can listen in anytime you like for years to come.
All this leads up to the Kickstarter campaign! There is a limited time left to get this book funded! Get a custom footbag limited only to project backers at the $30 level, as well as the book of course! You can also get a signed footbag and book for $70! Many other reward levels available, even for $5, go check it out!
We’ve released two new additions to our Tossaball Phat Tyre line-up for you to enjoy this summer!
Introducing the new Phat Tyre Fleece 14 juggle ball. This one marries our brightly colored fleece fabric to our already famous ground up recycled tire rubber filler making a very sweet juggling ball with attributes that we are sure you will like. The colors of these balls are outstanding and one satisfied customer says its like juggling a rainbow. We love feedback like that and if you get these beauties, you can add your feedback as well. We know you will love these and as always we guaranty your satisfaction. As in all of our juggle balls this one is machine washable.
Weight: 110 grams
This is our latest model to date and we think our best effort so far. Our classic 32 panel design combined with our new but popular recycled tire rubber filler to a 90% fill volume achieving the best in feel, grip and stable flight. When designing these balls it usually takes a good amount of feedback from our customers to tweak the offering to the just right point that satisfies almost everyone. This one is it! 100% handmade and completely washable, this is the one you have asked for and we have delivered. Hats off to our customers for all of your feedback.
